Service Description

The PEERs social skills curriculum for adolescents in middle school is a 16-week, comprehensive and evidence-based program designed to support young individuals in developing vital social and relationship skills. Tailored specifically for this age group, the curriculum focuses on fostering meaningful connections, enhancing communication abilities, and navigating social interactions successfully. Through a structured and interactive format, the PEERs curriculum addresses various areas of social development, including conversation skills, empathy, problem-solving, and understanding nonverbal cues. The program incorporates engaging activities, role-playing exercises, and group discussions to promote active learning and skill acquisition.
